Buxton travelled to Leek, and with the returning Mark Sessions as passenger there was no chance of him getting lost in the town centre.

Leek started well, getting an early short corner, which was converted getting past an unorganised defence of Stu Rowlands, Mark Sessions, Dom Irving, Steve Watson and the usually bright eyed, bushy tailed, hyper-aware Steve Norton.

Buxton quickly responded through Tim Hewitt, Dan Lowton scored a second to make it 2-1 at half time.
Rees Gibbs scored a third with a combination through Frankie Heathcoate and Matt Golding. Leek scored a second to make it 3-2, lobbing the usually agile, hyper-aware, Steve Norton. However with the engine Pete Spriggs, versatile forward/ midfield Wayne Pearson and a guest appearance from Sam ‘Sammy’ Sessions, the Buxton midfield held strong and Rees Gibbs added a fourth, to make the final result 4-2.
